WOLCOTT: Kirt M. Shaner, husband, father, grandfather and son, age 64, of 6648 East Port Bay Road, Wolcott, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at home.

Born on October 22, 1960, in Rochester, he was a son of Donald and Marian (Greeley) Shaner.  On July 18, 1987, he married the former Dori Packard who survives.

He had worked for TOPS Friendly Markets

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his parents Donald and Marian Shaner of Bolivar, his children Kristin (Jim) Shaner of Clyde, Crystal Platten of Canandaigua, Brock Shaner of Wolcott, Kirk Shaner of Palmyra, his grandchildren Kali, Chole, Teagan, Parker, two sisters Kathy Kunisch of Wellsville, Kelly Shaner of Wellsville, several nieces and nephews, his father and mother-in-law Richard and Jean Packard, a brother-in-law Richard Jr., 2 sister in laws, Terri and Christine and His beloved dogs Deer Dog, Pretty Girl, Good Pup, JR, and Sassy. He was predeceased by a brother Keith Shaner.
