LYONS: Charles A. Taylor Sr. passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026 at Clifton Springs Hospital and Clinic.

A gathering for Charlie will be held from 2pm to 6pm on  Saturday, January 17th at the American Legion, 1011 Route 5&20, Geneva. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wayne County Humane Society, Lyons.

Charlie was born February 25, 1960 in Rochester the son of the late Howard and Linda Lord. Charlie and Corinna raised both of their boys in Lyons, NY,  They were both active members of the community; coaching football, volunteering in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts.  Charlie enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle with his family and friends.  He spent his career as a parts/service director with various Ford dealerships before he retired in 2018.  He loved spending time with his sons, daughter-in-law and especially his grandchildren.  Charlie left us all too soon, he will be missed dearly by everyone who knew him.  I love you my husband, my best friend.  Until I see you again.

Charlie is survived by his wife of 45 Years Corinna (Garland) Taylor; his children, Charles Taylor, Devin (Diedra) Taylor; grandchildren: Regan and Savannah; siblings: Brothers Thomas (Sandy) Taylor and Timothy (Chris) Taylor; brother-in-law Louis (Denise) Garland; sister-in-law Penny Garland, and Connie (Jeff) Rios; Our life long and loving friends James and Pamela DeSando. And Joseph and Alicia Gerbig; nieces and Nephews: Randy Taylor, Thomas Taylor, Robert (Tolina) Garland, Nicholas (Barbie) Garland, Paul (Shannon) Garland, Jason (Jackie) Garland, Noel, Kris, Nikki Steven’s, Broc (Chrissy) Garland.
