MARION: A beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on August 29, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was a man of great kindness, dedication, and unwavering love for those close to him.

Kevin is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Jill Wing; his daughter, Kelly Cretelle and her husband Jason; and his cherished granddaughters, Ella and Emma. He is also survived by his son, Brian Wing, and Brian’s partner, Kristina Schutt. Kevin leaves behind his mother, Lucille Wing; as well as his sisters, Kathy Wing and Cindy Minnamon. He will be fondly remembered by his brother-in-law, Alby Hack and his wife Vera; his sister-in-law, Lisa Soucy and her husband Mark; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Kevin was predeceased by his father, James Wing; his brother, Brad Wing; his mother-in-law, Beverly Amos; his brother-in-law, Kevin Hack; and his nephew, Jack Soucy.

For 30 years, Kevin worked diligently at the Seneca Foods can plant in Marion, where he was respected and admired by his colleagues. Outside of work, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life, hunting, riding his Harley, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, and being outdoors. Kevin also enjoyed working with his hands, always tinkering and fixing things. But above all, Kevin cherished the time he spent with his family. He was happiest when surrounded by his loved ones, always ready to lend a hand, and share in their lives.

Kevin’s legacy is one of love, hard work, and a deep connection to his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

There will be no prior calling hours. A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held 2:00PM, October 5th, at the Marion American Legion Post 1430, 4141 Witherden Rd., Marion, NY 14505. Online condolences may be expressed at stevensfhmarion.com
