Roger was born on March 18, 1961 the son of Roger A. and Betty Rahm Yost. He was a 1979 graduate of Newark High School and had worked as a skilled mason for various contractors. Rog was a true outdoorsman who was most at home when he was fishing, hunting, camping in the Adirondacks, the Smokey Mountains or anywhere he could be close to nature. He enjoyed kayaking, fly fishing and “horticulture.” Rog was a bit of a “McGyver”, able to fix anything with whatever tools and materials he had around him. He was an avid and devoted Miami Dolphins fan.

 Rog is predeceased by his maternal grandparents James and Virginia Rahm; paternal grandparents Arthur Lee and Mary Yost; father Roger A. Yost Sr. and infant sister Kellie Lee Yost. He is survived by his wife Annette Kniest Yost; mother Betty Yost; daughter Ashley (Tom Ruby) Yost; son Joshua (Samantha Marschilok) Yost; brother Jeffrey Yost; grandchildren Maveryck and Makynlei Yost, Jaeda Marschilok and Jekob, Jayce and Jessee Begnouche and many extended family and friends.
