Senior quarterback Phil Tack completed 9 of 17 passes for 177 yards with one passing touchdown and ran for 76 yards and four touchdowns to lead Newark (3-0) to its first 3-0 start since 2002. Tack ran for three TDs in the second half. Micah Wright caught four passes for 113 yards and a TD and gained 88 yards on 11 carries for the Reds, who trailed 19-13 at halftime but scored 20 unanswered points. Justin Morrison rushed for 160 yards and three touchdowns for Wayne (2-1).

Alana Piano scored off a through ball from Aly Franklin with three minutes remaining for Aquinas (4-2-1). Kristen Vito made two saves for the win. Newark is 5-3.
Marion 3, Sodus 2
Hanna Williams intercepted a goal kick and scored the winner with 6:27 left for Marion (5-1-2). Senior Erika Means and her sister, sophomore Emma Means, each finished with a goal and an assist for the Black Knights. Erika Means scored to tie the game at 1 off an assist from Emma Means four minutes into the second half and Emma Means Marion gave Marion a 2-1 lead nine minutes later. Tierra Gahr scored twice for Sodus (2-4). Gahr put the Spartans ahead 1-0 in the 35th minute on a direct kick and tied the game at 2 with 8:22 remaining.

Jonathan Jones scored the game winner, his second of the game, in the 50th minute to lift NR-W (4-2-1). Marc Munoz tied the game in the 42nd minute for Gananda (0-3-2).
