The Pal-Mac Red Raiders clinched the 2025 Wayne-Finger Lakes Independent League Championship last week with a 34-24 win over Lyons. The team went undefeated this season.

Four Pal-Mac student-athletes signed their commitments Wednesday to compete at the next level, as part of the annual National Signing Day ceremony. All four student-athletes will compete for their school’s respective lacrosse teams at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I and II levels. Congratulations to the Williamson/Marion cross country teams for winning both the boys and girls Section V team championships on Saturday at Letchworth State Park. The boys won their first title as a merged team for either school, led by defending champion Aaron Meyer, who topped all Class C runners with a winning time of 15:49.6. Teammate Michael Ciripompa finished second overall (16:24.6) to help the team finish with 67 points ahead of runner-up Clyde-Savannah (78). Also for the boys, Carter Briggs finished 20th, Silas Lewis finished 22nd, Sean Meyer finished 31st, Jayden Klopotowski finished 32nd and Kayden Skerrett was 35th. The Williamson/Marion girls finished with 36 points to finish in first place ahead of Wayland-Cohocton (77 points). Hanna Governor was the winner in 18:06.7 and Georgie Alexander finished second in 19:44.4. Also for the girls, Ellie Alexander finished fifth, Breanna Shaver finished 13th, Kodie Whipple was 32nd, Faith Atwater finished 38th and Hailey Kramer finished 39th.
