Palmyra-Macedon 125, CS (39)

On December 4, Pal-Mac Boys Swimming hosted Clyde-Savannah. Pal-Mac took wins in 11 of the 12 events, starting off their season 1-0.

Pal-Mac had three double winners with James Sanson in the 200 Freestyle (2:12.52) and the 100 Free (59.06), Kyler Pallo in the 50 Freestyle (24.42) and the 500 Freestyle (6:03.41) and with George Newsome setting a new school record in the 200 IM (2:03.22) and the 100 Backstroke (55.45). Newsome’s time in the 100 Backstroke broke a 30 year old pool record that was previously set by Jeff Robinson in 1995.

Individual winners for Pal-Mac included Carson Lich in Diving (173.95) and Andrew Jennette in the 100 Butterfly (1:13.19).

Pal-Mac also took first in all three relays. In the 200 Medley Relay they had a time of 1:52.71 with Kyler Pallo, Louis Griffin, George Newsome, and James Sanson. The 200 Freestyle Relay went 2:02.40 with Carson Lich, Andrew Jennette, Brody Burba, and Kyler Pallo. They finished out the meet with a win in the 400 Freestyle Relay (4:12.69) with George Newsome, Louis Griffin, Sam Grant, and James Sanson.

Clyde-Savannah had an individual winner with Tanner Drahms in the 100 Breaststroke (1:16.02).
