Gananda vs North Rose-Wolcott
The Gananda boys swim team hosted Marcus Whitman.
Gananda’s double winners were Peyton Conner in the 50 Freestyle (22.22) and the 100 Freestyle (49.03), BOTH of those swims were NEW POOL RECORDS. Also double winners for Gananda were Josh Diebold in the 500 Freestyle (6:09.42) and the 100 Backstroke (1:17.15) and Conner Lynch (8th Grader) in the 200 Individual Medley (2:30.83) and the 100 Butterfly (1:11.20).
Also securing individual wins for Gananda were Liam Sennett in Diving (162.20) and Collin Phillips in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:19.14).
The individual winner for North Rose Wolcott was Jonas Delisio in the 200 Freestyle (2:30.83).
Gananda’s relay team of Josh Diebold, Collin Phillips, Peyton Conner and Logan Foley (1:56.09) won the 200 Medley Relay and the relay team of Collin Phillips, Conner Lynch, Blake Viola and Peyton Conner (1:47.19) won the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay.
North Rose Wolcott’s relay team of Jonas Delisio, Calvin Terzolo, Ethan Terzolo and Annabelle Luckey Ryan won the 400 Freestyle Relay (4:44.22).
The final score of the meet was 91-52 with Gananda winning the meet.
January 8
Pal-Mac vs Geneva
On Thursday January 8th, the Pal-Mac Red Raiders hosted the Geneva Panthers for Senior Night and swept the meet taking first in every event and winning the League Title. The meet started by recognizing all of the Seniors, Deakin Businelle-Vazquez and Yatniel Rivera from Geneva, and Jayson Bush, Noah Dapolito, Gavin Drain, Jon Galens, Louis Griffin, David Hull, Andrew Jennette, Logan Kuczynski, Carson Lich, and George Newsome from Pal-Mac.
The Red Raiders won all of three relays 200 Medley Relay - 2:05.91 (Pallo, Grant, Sanson, Impson), 200 Freestyle Relay - 1:59.23 (Drain, Dapolito, Giffin, Lich), 400 Freestyle Relay – 4:04.31 (Griffin, Jennette, Lich, Newsome).
Pal-Mac had double winners with Louis Griffin in the 200 Freestyle (2:25.58) and 100 Freestyle (1:02.61), George Newsome in the 50 Freestyle (22.70) and 100 Butterfly (55.27), and Andrew Jennette in the 200 IM (2:41.86) and 100 Backstroke (1:18.47).
Pal-Mac also had single winners with Mason Trail: Diving (179.15), Jay Sanson: 500 Freestyle (5:41.86), and Kyler Pallo: 100 Breaststroke (1:16.14).
The final score of the meet was Pal-Mac (131) and Geneva (37). The Red Raiders next meet will be at Churchville Chili for the Swim & Dive Classic on Jan 16 & 17.
