Pal-Mac (0-1, 0-1) Girls Swim Team started their season with a 5 year Finger Lakes unbeaten streak. Tuesday, September 10, that was broken. The Geneva/Mynderse swim team returned to competition as an exclusive girls swim team after 7 successful seasons as a combined mixed team. This was their first Finger Lakes Girls League Meet since 2017. Geneva won 89-64. Senior Pal-Mac’s Jillian Anthony took first place in both the 200 Free and the 100 Back. Addison Henley of the Red Raiders added a victory in the 100 Breaststroke.
Thursday September 12
Pal-Mac (1-1, 1-1) swam Midlakes/Red Jacket (0-1, 0-1) Thursday evening. This meet saw a lot of best times for the season as the girls are reaping the benefits of difficult workouts.
For Pal-Mac, Catherine Kubasiewicz had double first place finishes in the 200 Free and the 100 Butterfly, Addison Henley had double first place finishes in the 50 Free and 100 Free, and Jillian Anthony had double first place finishes in the 200 IM and 100 Breaststroke.
Saturday, September 14
Palmyra-Macedon swam a double dual meet against Gananda/Wayne and Spencerport at Spencerport. Spencerport won both meets again Gananda/Wayne and Pal-Mac while Gananda beat Pal-Mac.
Gananda: Sydney Richards took first in the 200 IM
Gianna Caracci took first in diving
Palmyra-Macedon: Jillian Anthony took first in the 100 Butterfly
