Gananda-Wayne v. Roc United
On October 15th, Gananda-Wayne Girls Varsity Swimming hosted Rochester United at the Gananda Pool in a lively meet that ended in a tied score: 87-87.
United’s Gracie Clark had double wins in the 200 Free and 100 Fly. Other notable swims include a first place finish for Natalia Sierra-Wardlow in the 200 IM (2:27.00), Taralynn Robinson taking first in the 50 Free (28.32); Brigid Thaney with first in the 500 Free (5:53.54)
Gananda-Wayne had a double-event winner with Sydney Richards taking first in both the 100 Free and the 100 Breaststroke. Emma Catalano won the 100 Backstroke, Gianna Caracci took first place in diving, and Gananda-Wayne’s 200 Medley and the 400 Free Relays also finished first.
Both teams celebrated a well-matched meet and a tied final score.
